Dr. Connie Onik
Dr. Connie Onik has been practicing dentistry since 2003, bringing over two decades of experience and genuine passion for patient care to her hometown of Frankfort. After previously owning a dental practice further from home, Dr. Onik purchased Onik Family Dental in 2021, allowing her to serve her community while staying close to what matters most, her family and the place she calls home.
Dr. Onik earned her Bachelor of Arts from Washington University in St. Louis in 1999, initially studying biomedical engineering. However, she soon realized she needed more personal connection in her work, which led her to discover her true calling in dentistry. After shadowing her own dentist and working weekends at his office, she knew she had found the perfect blend of medicine and meaningful human interaction. She went on to earn her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Southern Illinois School of Dental Medicine in 2003.
A self-described "people person to the core," Dr. Onik loves getting to know her patients and creating a welcoming, lighthearted atmosphere where everyone feels safe and comfortable. She and her team pride themselves on keeping things casual and fun while building relationships that go beyond dental care.
When she's not at the practice, which is conveniently located across the street from her children's schools, Dr. Onik is busy being a mom to three active boys who keep her calendar filled with football, basketball, and baseball games. Her husband is also a dentist with his own practice in Naperville. In the rare moments of downtime, you might find her relaxing with her cat or browsing real estate listings in Arizona, dreaming about a future retirement destination.
Dr. Onik's approachable nature, commitment to her patients, and dedication to creating a warm, friendly dental home make Onik Family Dental a special place for the Frankfort community.
Jackie O'Mara
Dental Hygienist
With nearly two decades of experience in dentistry and almost a decade dedicated to serving patients at Onik Family Dental, Jackie O'Mara brings a wealth of expertise and genuine passion for oral health to our practice. Since joining our team in 2016, Jackie has been an invaluable part of our mission to provide exceptional dental care to families in our community.
Jackie began her dental career in 2005, driven by a sincere desire to help patients achieve optimal oral health. She received her education and training at Prairie State College, where she developed the strong foundation that has supported her successful career as a dental hygienist.
At Onik Family Dental, Jackie works collaboratively with the entire team to ensure every patient receives the best possible oral care. Her approach is both thorough and compassionate, and she finds tremendous satisfaction in witnessing the positive transformations in her patients' oral health over time.
"Seeing great results when patients return for follow-up appointments" is what Jackie loves most about her work. This dedication to long-term patient outcomes reflects her commitment to not just treating immediate concerns, but helping patients maintain healthy smiles for life.
Outside of the dental office, Jackie embraces a lifestyle that keeps her connected to the natural world. She loves spending time outdoors in nature, finding peace and rejuvenation in the fresh air and open spaces. This appreciation for the outdoors extends to one of her favorite hobbies: gardening, where she can nurture plants and watch them flourish under her care.

Valerie Weber
Dental Assistant
Valerie brings over 25 years of dental experience to Onik Family Dental, having started her career as a dental assistant in 1998. She joined our practice in February 2023, where she continues to be an invaluable team player with an infectious positive attitude.
Valerie discovered her calling in dentistry right after high school when a friend mentioned an opening at a dental office. What began as on-the-job training has blossomed into a rewarding career spanning more than two decades. Her extensive experience, combined with her natural ability to connect with people, makes her an essential part of our team.
What Valerie loves most about her role is the opportunity to interact with patients and help them feel comfortable during their visits. She genuinely enjoys learning about their lives, adventures, and travels, creating a warm and welcoming environment that puts even the most anxious patients at ease.
When she's not helping patients smile brighter, Valerie pursues her passions for travel and wine tasting. She can often be found exploring new destinations or discovering local wineries, always ready to share stories of her adventures with both patients and colleagues alike.
Hayley Hoiseck
Front Office Coordinator
Hayley brings warmth and dedication to her role at the front desk of Onik Family Dental. A graduate of Mother McAuley, Hayley was drawn to the dental field by her desire to work in a profession where she could directly help people make a positive difference in their lives.
What truly motivates Hayley in her work is witnessing the incredible transformations that patients experience, whether it's helping someone overcome dental pain, enhancing their smile, or boosting their confidence. She finds deep satisfaction in being part of these meaningful moments in patients' lives.
Outside of her professional life, Hayley maintains an active and creative lifestyle. She's passionate about fitness and enjoys working out regularly. Her artistic side shines through her love of painting and various arts and crafts projects, which provide her with a creative outlet and relaxation.
Hayley's adventurous spirit was on full display this summer when she accomplished something truly impressive, completing her first Tough Mudder, demonstrating her determination and love for challenging herself physically.
